Job Description

Khan Academy is seeking a Senior Content Creator to manage and drive development in the Test Prep domain, specifically focusing on SAT. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing new content, reviewing contractor work, and representing Khan Academy to external partners.

Responsibilities

• Expand test prep offerings (SAT/PSAT Reading and Writing, P/SAT Math)
• Expand high school ELA courses aligned to CCSS
• Develop new passages, exercises, assessment items, and articles
• Review and provide feedback on content drafted by contractors
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Product, Programs, Districts, and Marketing
• Refine systems and processes for test prep content creation
• Represent the test prep team in meetings with external partners
• Learn and use content management system
• Triage and respond to user feedback and user data
• Leverage AI to augment and expedite existing workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in test prep, including 3+ years with SAT/PSAT Reading and Writing
• Proven ability to create high-impact learning content for the new digital SAT
• Strong understanding of instructional design and learner needs
• Proven track record of independently driving complex projects
• Strong communication and feedback skills
• Desire to engage a broad array of learners
• Desire to leverage tools, including generative AI
