Job Description

Khan Academy is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage the Content Platform team, responsible for tools related to content creation, translation, and publishing. This role involves people management, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the platform meets user needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery on product goals through direct people management
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues
• Build and grow experts/leaders
• Collaborate with external partners
• Partner with architects and other engineering managers
• Empower engineers and support them with tools and processes

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience managing teams of software engineers
• Experience with Agile development and methodologies
• Experience with web application architecture and development
• Experience with design systems and shared component libraries
• Ability to manage a diverse and distributed team
• Strong communication skills
• Player-coach mentality with coding experience
• Ability to give and receive feedback
• Passion for helping others succeed
