Khan Academy is seeking a Freelancer to localize Math videos from English to Telugu. The role involves reviewing, editing, and creating localized content, gathering feedback from teachers, and ensuring high-quality translations that align with the Indian curriculum. This is a remote, freelance position.

Responsibilities

• Localizing English Math videos into Telugu
• Reviewing and editing Telugu content
• Creating and localizing new content (videos)
• Collecting feedback from state teachers
• Highlighting modifications needed before localization
• Recreating content in Telugu while retaining meaning
• Researching relevant phraseology
• Proofreading and editing translated versions
• Developing and updating a glossary of terminologies

Requirements

• Loves Math and comfortable with the subject up to class XII level
• Fluent in Telugu (speaking and writing)
• Native Telugu speaker
• Ability to localize videos in Telugu
• Video making experience
• Proficiency in understanding English
• Knowledge of video making/editing software
