Khan Academy is seeking a freelance language expert to localize Science videos into Telugu. The role involves reviewing, editing, and creating Telugu content, gathering feedback from teachers, and ensuring high-quality localization while retaining the original meaning.

Responsibilities

• Localizing English Science videos into Telugu
• Reviewing and editing Telugu content
• Creating and localizing new content (videos)
• Collecting feedback from state teachers
• Highlighting modifications needed based on textbooks
• Recreating content in Telugu
• Researching phraseology
• Proofreading and editing translated versions
• Developing and updating a glossary of terminology

Requirements

• Fluent in Telugu (speaking and writing)
• Native Telugu speaker
• Comfortable with Science up to class XII level
• Video making experience
• Proficiency in English
• Knowledge of video editing software
