Job Description

The Senior Distribution Sales Executive is responsible for business development through distributors, acquiring new sales opportunities, and expanding product offerings. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, developing sales strategies, and managing distributor relationships to achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes operational plans for the Distribution Sales team
  • Develops and implements new products and processes
  • Provides support to Account Management teams
  • Develops and executes a distributor sales plan
  • Facilitates distributor initiatives
  • Fosters sales engagement with distributors
  • Generates sales qualified leads
  • Enables distributor teams
  • Manages distribution pipeline and forecast
  • Trains junior colleagues
  • Meets sales objectives
  • Uses forecast methodology
  • Demonstrates best practices within distribution accounts

Requirements

  • Ability to manage large projects independently
  • Expert in applicable work area
  • Ability to adapt to new technology
  • Ability to make 10-20 outbound calls daily
  • Ability to foster sales engagement
  • Ability to present ideas concisely
  • Knowledge of distributor platforms
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise suite
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions (Security, RMM, PSA, CPQ, BDR)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
