Hivemapper is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the architecture, design, implementation, and evaluation of their core AI systems and data platform. This role involves partnering across the company to ensure system adaptability and contributing to technical strategy in a fast-paced, collaborative, and data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture, design, implementation, and evaluation of core AI systems and data platform
• Partner across company to ensure system adaptability
• Help plan technical roadmaps and contribute to technical strategy

Requirements

• Experience building production critical systems used by thousands of users
• Deep backend experience with large scale data platform, DB, ETL, distributed system
• Strong analytical skills in ML, math, statistics, quantitative economics
• Track record of leading and mentoring teams
