Hivemapper is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to accelerate the migration of ML, sensor fusion, and HD map data processing to their Bee devices. The role involves evolving and architecting efficient software systems, building embedded applications, and optimizing ML vision models for hardware efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evolve and architect efficient userspace software systems
• Build C++, Python, and TypeScript embedded applications
• Iterate quickly with near-realtime performance monitoring
• Write high quality software leveraging hardware paths
• Optimize ML vision models for hardware efficiency

Requirements

• Experience with embedded sensor solutions
• Understanding of map data sensor platforms
• Linux OS development experience (Yocto)
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, Typescript, OpenVINO, or Go
