Hivemapper is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Machine Learning to contribute to their decentralized global mapping data network. The role involves shaping the computer vision strategy, developing production-grade ML solutions, and integrating them into existing systems, working with large volumes of data and cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Shape the CV strategy across the mapping stack
• Balance state-of-the-art ML with practicality
• Produce production-grade ML solutions
• Integrate ML solutions with production systems at the edge and in clusters

Requirements

• Expertise in building and deploying ML solutions
• Hands-on experience with Image Processing and Computer Vision
• Hands-on experience with general ML and Data Mining
• Experience with 3D reconstruction pipelines
• Strong programming and applied math skills
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
