Job Description

Centuria is seeking a Lead Senior Systems Admin with UNIX/Linux expertise to monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, manage storage, and ensure system security. The role requires strong experience in system administration, network protocols, and security tools, along with the ability to work on-site and provide on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Maintain and manage storage systems
• Manage system backup and recovery
• Coordinate with external teams
• Provide after-hours support
• Ensure compliance with security requirements
• Participate in technical discussions
• Create and maintain system scripts
• Apply system patches and upgrades
• Administer user accounts
• Maintain hardware and asset inventory

Requirements

• 6+ years of UNIX/Linux system administration experience
• Experience in system backup and recovery
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP)
• Experience with network security tools
• Demonstrable experience in writing technical documents
• Proficiency in MS Office toolsets
• DoD 8570 IAT III certification (CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH)
• DoD Top Secret clearance
