Job Description

Centuria is seeking a Lead Systems Administrator to deliver IT solutions to the Federal Government. The role involves system and security administration in Windows and VMware environments, troubleshooting, and implementing security controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, virtualization, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Experience with virtualization solutions (Hyper-V, VMWare, Nutanix)
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Adapt to new systems and requirements
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture and networking
• Troubleshoot complex issues in Windows and Linux
• System and security administration in Windows and VMware
• Security tool administration and STIG implementation
• Windows technical support and Group Policy Objects

Requirements

• 6+ years of Windows system administration experience
• Experience with system backup/recovery and software management
• Knowledge of network security tools and protocols (TCP/IP)
• Understanding of computing and networking vulnerabilities
• Experience writing technical documents and proposals
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field (preferred)
• DoD IAT Level II / Security+ certification
• DoD Top Secret clearance
