Job Description

Centuria is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to deliver IT and Engineering solutions to the Federal Government. The role involves system and security administration in Windows and VMware environments, troubleshooting, and implementing security controls. The candidate will also be responsible for technical documentation and adapting to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Experience with virtualization solutions (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare, Nutanix)
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Development and maintenance of technical documentation
• Adaptability to new systems and requirements
• Knowledge of architecture and communication protocols
• Networking principles and troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting complex issues in Windows and Linux
• System and security administration in Windows and VMware
• Security tool administration and hardening
• Windows technical support and Group Policy Objects
• Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or VBScript

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operating systems design and implementation for DoD programs
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, storage systems, and TCP/IP
• Experience in writing technical documents and proposals
• Proficiency in MS Office toolsets
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field (preferred)
• DoD IAT Level II / Security+ certification
• DoD Top Secret clearance
