Job Description

Centuria is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support the 66th Air Base Group's mission by providing technical support for hardware, software, and information systems. This role involves troubleshooting, resolving issues, and ensuring efficient service delivery in a classified and unclassified environment.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with ticket procedures and update tickets promptly
  • Maintain and monitor hardware and software
  • Meet call center metrics
  • Support client voice issues (VoIP, SIP)
  • Staff Client Service Center phone shifts
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues remotely and on-site
  • Install and troubleshoot software
  • Support IT procedures
  • Support classified encryption operations
  • Configure workstations and ensure network operation
  • Review processes for compliance
  • Implement software patches
  • Support IT projects
  • Install and troubleshoot multi-function devices and printers
  • Annotate changes in Equipment Custodian Asset Management System (ECAM)

Requirements

  • Secret Level DoD Security Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • High School Diploma and 1-5 years of experience
  • CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Network+ certifications (desired)
  • ITIL certification (desired)
  • Knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (O365/2016)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
