Job Description

Centuria is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to support the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) at Hanscom Air Force Base. The ISSM will be responsible for securing information and information systems, supporting mission success through effective service delivery, and sustaining required infrastructure and capabilities as part of the Air Force Information Network (AFIN) enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate information system security programs
• Analyze network security based on industry standards
• Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations
• Advise on security testing methodologies
• Review certification documentation
• Develop and maintain a formal Information Systems Security Program
• Ensure personnel receive necessary security training
• Develop and review system certification documentation
• Ensure proper procedures for data handling
• Conduct certification tests
• Maintain certification documentation
• Coordinate security inspections
• Develop incident response policies
• Ensure corrective measures for security incidents
• Establish data ownership and responsibilities
• Develop and implement security education programs
• Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities
• Ensure system recovery processes are monitored
• Ensure security documentation is current
• Address security requirements throughout the system life cycle
• Participate in self-inspections
• Coordinate technical security issues
• Provide research and analysis
• Perform file transfers
• Provide leadership and mentoring

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/Information technology or equivalent
• 8 years’ experience with Cybersecurity practices within the DoD or other Federal Agency
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Cybersecurity Directives
• Ability to work dynamically and effectively on projects
• IAT Level III (CISSP) certification
• TS/SCI clearance
