Job Description

Centuria is seeking a UC Engineer to support the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) in securing information and information systems. The role involves designing, managing, and implementing voice solutions in accordance with Air Force enterprise standards, as well as providing customer support and troubleshooting voice infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and implement voice solutions
• Plan voice environments for internal customers
• Develop and review voice platform procedures
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot voice infrastructure
• Design enterprise telephony solutions
• Install and maintain voice equipment
• Use packet capture and protocol analysis tools
• Evaluate vendor hardware and software
• Interface with Telephone Control Officers
• Maintain detailed record keeping
• Collaborate with team members and management

Requirements

• Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent (3+ years’ experience)
• CompTIA Security +
• Experience with Avaya AS5300, Redsky E-911, RTMI, vIPers, T-Metrics ACD
• Experience troubleshooting SIP-based sessions
• Strong network debugging skills
• Visio skills for creating topology maps
• Understanding of databases, servers, and Windows/Linux OS
• 24/7 emergency support availability
• Knowledge of Telecom (ISDN/T-1, Voice Protection Systems)
• Knowledge of SIP and associated telephony protocols
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and team-oriented
• Ability to lift 50+lbs
• Critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills
