Maven Clinic is seeking a Staff ML/AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions using foundation models and modern orchestration techniques. This role involves collaborating with product, data, and engineering teams to improve the care journey for members and providers, developing robust ML pipelines, and mentoring engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in building AI applications or as a data scientist with experience across the data science lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong track record in AI application building or data science
• Experience integrating and deploying foundation models
• Understanding of health-related datasets
• Fluency in Python
• Familiarity with cloud-native systems
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and ML deployment
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in backend development, platform architecture and ML/AI
