Job Description

Shinola is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their accounting team with invoice processing, vendor management, and month-end close activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in NetSuite, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full accounts payable cycle
  • Prepare and process payments
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Support vendor relationship management
  • Participate in month-end close
  • Assist with financial audit requests
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
  • Experience using NetSuite
  • Experience using Navan
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of integrity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities
