Job Description

Shift4 is seeking an Onsite Services Installer to complete full integration of Point-of-Sale systems and peripherals at merchant locations. This role involves coordinating with merchants and technicians, providing training, and understanding the merchant processing industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and train on POS software
• Perform site surveys and network troubleshooting
• Repair/replace network cabling
• Troubleshoot hardware and software
• Test hardware and software with minimal support
• Provide post-installation documentation and photos
• Work flexible hours including on call, weekends
• Practice safe driving and maintain reliable transportation
• Communicate effectively and submit expense reports
• Participate in beta testing and provide feedback
• Manage inventory and participate in training

Requirements

• Good driving record
• 1+ year POS installation experience
• Willingness to travel on short notice
• Ability to use hand tools and lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience with cabling
• Technician background in network/computer troubleshooting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
• Friendly demeanor and ability to learn quickly
• Strong follow-up and decision-making skills
• Adaptability to change
