Job Description

The Onsite POS Installer, Associate is responsible for the full integration of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and peripherals at merchant locations, including installation, troubleshooting, training, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform POS system and peripheral installations
• Conduct site surveys and troubleshoot issues
• Test hardware and software
• Provide merchant training
• Document installations
• Participate in enterprise account installations
• Travel for installations
• Maintain inventory
• Participate in training
• Submit expense reports
• Adhere to safe driving practices
• Maintain company vehicle

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1 year of POS installation/support experience preferred
• Technician background in network/computer troubleshooting
• Experience with hand tools and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
• Good driving record and willingness to travel
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to follow directions and exercise good judgment
• Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Net+, MCP) preferred
• 2+ years of customer service/technical support preferred
• Experience in banking/credit card processing preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
