The Onsite POS Installer, Associate is responsible for the full integration of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and peripherals at merchant locations, requiring technical expertise, coordination with merchants, and client training.
Responsibilities
Perform POS system and peripheral installations
Conduct site surveys and troubleshoot network issues
Test hardware, software, and credit card processing
Provide merchant training
Document installations
Participate in enterprise account installations
Travel locally and nationally
Maintain inventory
Participate in training
Submit expense reports
Adhere to safe driving practices

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ year of POS installation/support experience
Technician background in network/computer troubleshooting
Experience with hand tools and lifting up to 50 pounds
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
Good driving record and willingness to travel
Friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to follow directions and exercise good judgment
