Job Description

Shift4 is seeking a POS Technical Support Representative to provide technical support for SkyTab POS systems and credit card terminals. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues through various communication channels while maintaining high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Listen to customer needs and concerns
  • Identify and resolve terminal/POS system issues
  • Analyze call logs to identify trends
  • Provide solutions to merchants
  • Research and resolve credit card terminal issues
  • Handle inbound calls, emails, chats, tasks, and tickets
  • Maintain professional relationships
  • Manage projects and priorities
  • Demonstrate performance and attendance
  • Be flexible with work hours

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of technical support/troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with credit card terminals and POS equipment is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Adaptability and creativity
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Banking or credit card processing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
