Alethea is seeking a Director of Analysis to lead their analytic function, driving tradecraft, ensuring analytic rigor, and mentoring analysts. This role involves assessing risks from social media narratives and online manipulation campaigns, partnering with product and engineering teams to build scalable solutions, and optimizing workflows to improve delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize analytic methodologies
• Assess reputational, security, regulatory, and cyber risks
• Mentor and coach analysts
• Engage with clients to translate requirements
• Monitor adversary tactics and trends
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science
• Translate analytic needs into product features
• Streamline workflows
• Implement tools to support analysts
• Establish a culture of experimentation
• Lead reviews of analytic approaches
• Track quality and customer satisfaction metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s preferred)
• Proven success in a senior analytic leadership role
• Experience assessing risks and communicating implications
• Experience partnering with product/engineering teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Track record of building and leading analytic teams
• Familiarity with analytic technologies and data tools
