Flexport is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of 30-100 individuals in a large fulfillment center. This role focuses on people leadership, process management, and contributing to the company's mission of revolutionizing global trade through innovative technology and exceptional people.

Responsibilities

• Coach, manage, and develop a team
• Communicate policies and ensure compliance
• Manage recognition programs
• Support safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Ensure building security and loss prevention
• Own performance reporting
• Hold team to SLA expectations
• Troubleshoot fulfillment problems
• Escalate risks and resolve issues
• Measure and respond to inventory gaps
• Review defect rates and improve operations
• Track learnings and contribute to SOPs
• Prioritize systemic problem resolution

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience, supply chain preferred
• Ability to drive process improvements
• Collaborative approach
• Precise communication skills
• Exceptional prioritization skills
• Problem-solving and data analysis skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Strong computer literacy (Google Sheets/Excel)
• SQL experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Willingness to work various shifts, including overnights and holidays
