Job Description

The Compliance Program Manager will manage and advance the company’s Dangerous Goods (DG) and Export Control (EC) compliance programs within the U.S., serving as a subject-matter expert and ensuring adherence to global trade and export control laws through policy oversight, regulatory interpretation, training, auditing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. DG and EC compliance programs
• Monitor business activities for compliance
• Update policies and processes
• Interpret and communicate regulatory changes
• Act as liaison with regulatory agencies
• Maintain certifications and registrations
• Deliver compliance training
• Conduct audits and risk assessments
• Manage incident reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Provide compliance guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5-7 years of compliance experience focused on dangerous goods, hazmat shipping, and export controls
• Knowledge of IATA DGR, IMDG Code, 49 CFR, EAR, and ITAR
• IATA DGR Awareness, ICAO/IATA DGR Initial and IMO IMDG Code certified
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Superior organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Fluency in English
