Flexport is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager for a full-time position in one of their fulfillment centers. The role involves leading and developing a large team, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to the future of logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 200+ associates
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures
• Manage recognition programs
• Implement and maintain safety programs
• Establish building security and loss prevention procedures
• Report on performance metrics
• Uphold Service Level Agreements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Escalate risk mitigation and issue resolution
• Improve inventory accuracy
• Analyze defect rates and recommend improvements
• Contribute to Standard Operating Procedures
• Work with Growth and Engineering teams
• Own CPU and cost metrics

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing a team of 4+ salaried individuals
• Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Ability to engage in physically demanding tasks
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Comfort working in varying noise levels
