Job Description

Flexport is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager for a full-time position in one of their fulfillment centers. This leadership role involves managing a team, ensuring operational efficiency, and contributing to the future of logistics. The role focuses on team development, safety, performance reporting, and issue resolution within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 75-200 associates
• Communicate policies and ensure compliance
• Manage recognition programs
• Implement safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance
• Enforce building security and loss prevention procedures
• Own performance reporting for fulfillment center areas
• Maintain SLA expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Escalate risk mitigation and issue resolution
• Analyze inventory accuracy and drive improvements
• Analyze defect rates and recommend operational improvements
• Contribute to SOP development

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing a team of 5+
• Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Ability to engage in physically demanding tasks
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Comfort working in varying noise levels
