Flexport is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to play a crucial role in scaling their accounting operations. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, enhancing processes, and providing actionable insights to support growth. Responsibilities

• Own portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Identify accounting issues and implement solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Assist with global consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
• Support audits
• Drive process improvements
• Analyze financial trends and provide insights
• Stay current on accounting standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
