Flexport is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives to architect the future of their global fulfillment network. This role involves designing processes, building products, and creating standards for scalable operations, requiring a blend of technical, operational, and strategic skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, solve complex problems, and drive impactful initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, standardize, and codify fulfillment processes, products, and tools
• Define scalable operating models
• Own initiatives end-to-end, from problem diagnosis to implementation
• Develop tooling, dashboards, and models using SQL, Python, and BI platforms
• Use data to identify opportunities and drive cost savings
• Partner with cross-functional teams
• Establish and roll out SOPs and KPIs
• Lead strategic initiatives like automation and international expansion

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or operations strategy
• Expert SQL skills
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
• Python or R proficiency preferred
• Proven record of designing and implementing scalable processes
• Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action
