Job Description

Flexport is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives to architect the future of their global fulfillment network. This role involves designing processes, building products, and creating standards for scalable operations, working across operations, product, and technology teams. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, data-driven, and capable of leading strategic projects from end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design and standardize fulfillment processes, products, and tools
• Define scalable operating models
• Own initiatives end-to-end, including prototyping and implementation
• Develop tooling, dashboards, and models using SQL, Python, and BI platforms
• Use data to identify opportunities and drive cost savings
• Partner with cross-functional teams
• Establish and roll out SOPs and KPIs
• Lead strategic projects like automation and international expansion

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or operations strategy
• Expert SQL skills
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Proven record of designing and implementing scalable processes
• Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset
