Flexport is seeking a Software Engineer II to develop and maintain systems for their freight forwarding execution platform. The role involves building highly available, secure, distributed systems, collaborating with engineers and product managers, and contributing to the company's mission of improving global trade.

Responsibilities

• Build highly available, secure, distributed systems
• Design, develop, test, and maintain logistics systems
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers
• Build and launch products rapidly
• Ensure product quality through metrics and post-mortems

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in system design and architecture
• Full-stack development experience (React, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Kotlin)
• Experience building responsive web applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
