Flexport is seeking a Trade Advisory Lead to lead and mentor a team providing customs and trade expertise to clients, helping them navigate complex regulations and identify cost savings opportunities. The role involves managing projects, performing analytics, staying informed on industry trends, and coordinating with clients and government authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage trade advisory projects
• Perform trade advisory analytics and reporting
• Monitor deadlines and draft client deliverables
• Stay informed on customs regulations and industry trends
• Manage project timelines, statuses, and invoices
• Coordinate software solutions and automation
• Interface with CBP and clients
• Maintain communication with stakeholders
• Support team development and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Licensed Customs Broker required
• 5-7 years trade related experience
• Strong technical and business writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills
• Expertise with Microsoft Office suite and Google equivalents
• Strong data analytical skills
• Strong industry knowledge of trade regulations
