Job Description

Labelbox is seeking a Security Engineering Intern to strengthen and scale their enterprise security program. The intern will gain hands-on experience in cloud security, application security, SecOps, and compliance workflows, contributing to the improvement of the company's security posture.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize SIEM platform
• Support triage and analysis of security issues
• Contribute to improving access workflows
• Audit and refine access controls
• Strengthen CI/CD security
• Run software supply chain security proof of concept
• Participate in cybersecurity initiatives
• Research and evaluate security tool stack enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Interest in cloud security, data security, and security operations
• Ownership, initiative, and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Foundational database concepts (SQL)
• Familiarity with networking and scripting (Python, Bash) is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills
