Job Description

The Manager, Accounting – League Operations manages day-to-day accounting activities, focusing on monthly close, account reconciliations, and compliance. This role provides oversight of accounting processes, ensures adherence to policies, and supports internal and external reporting requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational accounting activities
• Support monthly close activities and reconciliations
• Oversee accounting for intercompany, fixed assets, and League Operations departments
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices
• Collaborate with technical accounting team
• Provide oversight to accounting staff
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Collaborate with audit teams
• Assist in implementing functional policies

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA designation or candidacy preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Oracle Cloud ERP experience a plus
• Prior people management skills a plus
