Job Description

The Senior Coordinator, Accounting - League Operations supports daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate processing, adherence to policies, and timely completion of period-end close activities. This role involves journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and compliance with GAAP standards, working closely with management for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the end-to-end accounting cycle
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses
• Prepare accounting worksheets for journal entries
• Follow accounting policies and internal control procedures
• Support review and analysis of complex accounting transactions
• Collaborate with Operational Finance
• Identify process improvements
• Collect and validate financial data
• Maintain documentation for accounting policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Oracle Cloud ERP experience a plus
• CPA designation or candidacy preferred
