Lightning AI is seeking a Backend Engineer to develop and scale their AI platform, covering areas from frontend and API to billing and security. The role involves ownership of key features, collaboration with a skilled team, and a focus on rapid development and iteration to transform the machine-learning ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Write readable/testable/efficient code in Go
• Deliver new features and improve system stability
• Partner with engineering and product leaders
• Evaluate and document technical architecture
• Champion software quality and implement automation
• Mentor and coach engineers

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Go
• Knowledge of backend and frontend systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proven ability to take ownership of features
• Commitment to software quality and continuous delivery
• Hands-on experience in a SaaS technology company
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
