Job Description

Toptal is seeking a VP of Product Management to lead and scale their product and platform. This role involves owning the product strategy and roadmap, guiding a team of Product Managers, and collaborating with Engineering and other stakeholders to support the organization’s growth. The position is remote and requires a customer-centric leader with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for technology and customer-facing products
• Provide thought leadership and communication on product strategy
• Track progress, assess risks, and coordinate delivery
• Prioritize initiatives as the team scales
• Lead and grow a team of Product Managers
• Drive the Product Management practice and culture
• Work cross-functionally with Executives, Operations, and Legal
• Establish team objectives and oversee work
• Coach and mentor team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• 10+ years of software Product Management experience
• 3+ years of experience leading Product Managers
• Prior Software Engineering experience is a plus
• Knowledge of AI product development is a plus
• Proficiency in SQL or spreadsheets for data analysis
• User-centric approach to problem-solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple challenges
