Toptal is seeking a CEO of AI Services to lead its innovative AI division, encompassing data annotation, forward-deployed engineering, enterprise AI transformation, and AI software development. The role requires a builder with a strong engineering mindset to architect and operate the AI Services business, driving strategy, execution, and scalable growth while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own AI Services vision, strategy, and execution
• Define organizational structure and leadership model
• Provide hands-on operational leadership
• Translate strategy into operational roadmaps
• Establish scalable AI Services processes
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Legal
• Drive a high-performance culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
• 10+ years of leadership experience in scaling AI/tech organizations
• Proven track record of leading multi-service/AI initiatives
• Experience with P&L, growth, and operational excellence
• Experience at a technology or hyper-growth company preferred
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience driving cross-functional collaboration
• Hyper-organized and detail-oriented
• Adaptable and willing to travel
