Job Description

As General Manager, you will own a new business line from the ground up, focusing on market positioning, product-market fit, profitability, and scalable operations. This role requires a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, with accountability for the business P&L and alignment with Toptal's overall growth goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth, pipeline health, and gross margin
  • Optimize supply and demand
  • Analyze market opportunities
  • Build and test new offerings
  • Lead execution plans with Marketing and Talent Operations
  • Work with clients as a trusted business partner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Establish analytics and feedback loops
  • Develop and execute GTM strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
  • 10+ years of business management experience
  • 3+ years of P&L ownership
  • Experience in a professional services organization
  • Experience building a new business or product
  • Technology or hyper-growth company experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Commercial acumen and P&L understanding
  • Excellent organization and adaptability
