Job Description

As an Account Operations Manager at Toptal, you will be the operational backbone supporting strategic client accounts. This role involves owning processes, data accuracy, client communications, and ensuring smooth engagement delivery, accurate reporting, and exceptional experiences for both clients and talent. You will partner with Sales, Matching, Legal, and Finance teams to manage the full client lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operational processes for client accounts
  • Lead internal meetings and update Salesforce
  • Coordinate with Sales and Matching to remove blockers
  • Communicate with clients on operational details and timelines
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance on contracts and billing
  • Manage onboarding, equipment logistics, and compliance
  • Deliver a seamless experience for clients and talent
  • Manage talent onboarding/offboarding
  • Create and manage processes related to Talent engagement hours, revenue, and margins
  • Provide assistance for legal and compliance purposes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years in account operations, project coordination, or client services
  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and stakeholders
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, and operational tracking tools
  • Solid understanding of legal documents (NDAs, SOWs)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with excellent prioritization skills
  • Resourceful and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong communication skills
