Job Description

Curri is seeking a Lead Accountant to support month-end close and improve operational accounting processes as the company scales. This role involves partnering with Finance, Operations, and Product teams to enhance billing operations, implement accounting systems, and improve efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities
• Improve and scale operational accounting processes
• Assist in ERP software evaluation and implementation
• Expand data reporting framework
• Participate in ad hoc projects and system integrations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years at a Big Four or mid-size accounting firm
• 4+ years in a startup or fast-paced accounting environment
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong operational accounting background
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ownership mentality
• Located in Ventura, CA area
