Job Description

Zus is seeking a highly motivated Implementation Engineer to drive onboarding and integration efforts for customers. This role involves developing and managing implementation plans, serving as the technical point of contact, and ensuring customers successfully integrate Zus products for long-term success. The ideal candidate will balance technical expertise with strategic thinking and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own full technical onboarding process
• Translate business requirements into system configurations
• Lead and manage end-to-end implementation process
• Monitor project progress and mitigate risks
• Serve as technical point of contact for customers
• Host progress reviews and technical deep dives
• Collaborate with internal teams
• Develop and deliver training sessions

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical implementation or systems integration
• Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, CCD)
• Experience integrating with EMRs (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth)
• Hands-on experience with APIs and data ingestion pipelines
• Familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake)
• Proficient in technical debugging
• Data scripting skills (Python)
• SQL programming skills
• Experience with secure environments (HIPAA, SOC2)
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
