Job Description

Zus is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Data Acquisition team, responsible for collecting and making health data useful from various sources. The role involves building tools to interact with external health data networks, creating data pipelines, and developing RESTful services using Go and NodeJS within an AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Build tools to collect health data from internal and external sources
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS services
• Create and operate RESTful services
• Deploy, maintain, and operate pipelines and services
• Collaborate with development partners in multiple timezones

Requirements

• Experience with operationally stable and cost-efficient data pipelines
• Experience building backend software in Go or Node
• Experience with deployment technologies, cloud providers, and Infrastructure as Code
• Comfortable working remotely and traveling for collaboration
• Scrappy and fast-moving
• Ownership of work and safe production deployment
