Job Description

Zus is seeking a senior engineer to join their Data Acquisition team, responsible for collecting and making health data useful from various sources. The role involves building tools and services to interact with external health data networks, operating large-scale data pipelines using AWS services, and deploying/maintaining those pipelines and services.

Responsibilities

• Build tools to collect health data from internal and external sources
• Develop services for data requests
• Operate data pipelines using AWS services
• Deploy, maintain, and operate pipelines and services
• Collaborate with development partners in Central European Time

Requirements

• Experience with operationally stable and cost efficient data pipelines
• Experience building backend software in Go or Node
• Experience with deployment technologies, cloud providers, and Infrastructure as Code
• Comfortable working remotely and occasional travel
• Scrappy and move fast
• Enjoy owning work and deploying safely
